Glen Shepherd has been a Northern Rivers local for over 30 years having played at Ballina RSL Auditorium Dance for 25 years initially with Roger Munsie, then Jim Fairfull and now Dean Doyle .
Glen has extensive piano bar experience playing at many Canberra venues including the Southern Cross Club. He has tinkled the ivories at Twin Towns, Evans Head, Lismore, and many other venues. He spent 6 years with the Summerland Jazz Band, played with the Northern Rivers Big Band, The Well Swung Daddies and 15 years with the Downbeat Jazz band on the Tweed.
Glen has a vast repertoire from conjuring up “Memories” to Fats Domino to Elvis, Elton John, Billie Joel, Stevie Wonder and many contemporary artists. He enjoys playing the sort of music people love to hear.
Glen has also worked the club circuit in earlier years accompanying many of Australia’s well know artists including Normie Rowe, Julie Anthony, Digger Revell and many of the Bandstand team.
