Neil has had a lifetime in music and shines with outstanding skills as a vocalist & guitarist, performing over the last few years in a great variety of North Coast music combinations. As a solo artist he has developed a brilliant funk blues sound that is captivating and he is highly sought after as a sideman guitarist having played blues, reggae and country with many outfits in venues along the Northern Rivers region.
He brings tasty country guitar licks and a brilliant vocal contribution to the harmonioes which are an attractive feature of “I Hear That Train a-Comin’ : The Johnny Cash Story”. Neil worked for many years as a soloist and band musician on the Sydney music scene, where he was also a television animator by day, before moving with his young family to the North Coast of NSW.
He plays drums with Slim Pickens and Barry Ferrier in “The Shooflys” and has worked with Slim and Barry as a duo partner.
